Swiss political candidates use video campaign ads - but just for the internet.

Anyone can put up videos on the internet. And that’s what many of the 3,000 or so candidates in October’s Swiss general elections are doing. The main reason is that in Switzerland the law forbids TV campaign ads, which are so popular in the United States and in other countries. (SF/
