Most of the 80 side-events are for specialists, but one notable exception is the ICT4D (the ICT for Development) platform organised by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Global Knowledge Partnership.
The ICT for Development Platform, which runs from December 9-13 at Palexpo, Geneva, presents aid and development projects which are already using ICTs. This will be a meeting point for development organisations, donors, the media and the public.
