Drug addiction: ‘I pretended I had it under control’

"True Talk" puts people in front of the camera who are fighting prejudice or discrimination. They answer questions that nobody would normally dare to ask directly.

This week, we talk to former drug addict, Reda, who says he has paid out more than three million francs for narcotics during his lifetime. He says people should not be afraid of junkies but they should be aware that addicts don't make great friends as "they live in a totally different world". He says that it takes a lot of introspection to finally kick the habit.
