Switzerland's bobsledders blew away the competition at the latest two-man World Cup race in Park City. Reto Götschi, Christian Reich and Martin Annen took the top three places on next year's Olympic track.

Götschi and his brakeman Cédric Grand shared first place with Reich and Steve Anderhulb after both teams set new course records on Sunday. Annen and Beat Hefti came in third, 37 hundredths of a second behind their compatriots.

Even with German world champion Christoph Langen hampered by a thigh injury (he took ninth place) the winning margin of the Swiss teams was impressive. None of their rivals managed to come within half a second of the time set by Götschi and Reich.

Despite being outdone by his Swiss colleagues on Sunday, Annen is currently heading the overall standings in the two-man discipline. Reich has now climbed to fourth place with Götschi just one spot behind.

Sadly the three teams will not all get a chance to repeat Sunday's feat at the actual Olympics. The competition rules allow a maximum of two teams from each competing nation.
