Day three of the championships was a good one for Switzerland, with both Bern’s Young Boys and Lausanne-Sport scoring goals.

The Young Boys beat Odense of Denmark 4-2 in a group match played at home in the Stade de Suisse stadium.

Trainer Vladamir Petkovic said it was not the team’s best game, but clearly good enough to win. With six championship points, the Young Boys now rank second in Group H.

Meanwhile, Lausanne-Sport scored a point in the 96th minute, bringing the end result to 3-3 against Sparta-Prague in a match hosted in the Czech Republic. The match brought the Lausanne team its first Europa League point – leaving it in fourth place in Group F.

Both teams have their next matches on November 4.
