In the men's boardercross, a non-Olympic event, Guillaume Nanternod finished second behind Australian Zeke Steggall, but ahead of Canada's Drew Neilson. Switzerland's other competitors, David Henzen, Manuel Uhlmann and Yann Imboden were 17th, 36th and 48th.

Nanternod leads the boardercross standings with 1,250 points.

In the women's event, France's Marie Laissus and Marjorie Rey took the first two places ahead of Swiss Tanja Frieden. The other Swiss participants, Olivia Nobs, Kathrin Kellenberger, Tanja Uhlmann and Nathalie Zenklusen finished fifth, seventh, 12th and 19th respectively.

Sunday's action saw the men and women compete in the parallel giant slalom. In the men's event, Gilles Jaquet finished fifth behind Austria's Stefan Canltschütz, while Urs Eiselin was 13th.

Steffi von Siebenthal was the best of the Swiss women, finishing fourth behind Austria's Doris Günther, just ahead of compatriot Ursula Bruhin.

On Thursday organisers announced that the half-pipe final would have to be postponed until Monday because the mould used to make the giant ice curve was faulty. The replacement mould was then found to be too small.
