Podladtchikov, known on the circuit as I-Pod, won the halfpipe World Cup title in 2008.

The four-man Switzerland team includes 2003 world champion Markus Keller, Sergio Berger and Christian Haller.

The Swiss also named four-time World Cup champion Manuela Pesko and Ursina Haller to the women’s halfpipe team.

Pesko was seventh at the 2006 Turin Winter Games and came out of retirement for the Olympic season. and agencies
