The Swiss Formula One team, Sauber, has decided to continue using Bridgestone tyres next season, despite most of the other big names, such as Williams, Benetton, Jaguar and Prost opting for the newcomer to F1, Michelin.
Bridgestone has been the soul manufacturer since Goodyear pulled out in 1997.
However, it is still unclear whether Sauber's top drivers, Mika Salo and Pedro Diniz, are leaving or who will replace them. The names of Olivier Panis, Enrique Bernoldi, Jenson Button and Nick Heidfeld have been reported as potential candidates.
