The present recording of the Swiss Piano Trio unites three very different works by Swiss composers: two from the first half of the 20th century - Paul Juon's 'Litaniae' op. 70 and Frank Martin's Trio on Irish folk melodies - and Daniel Schnyder's Piano Trio of 1999/2000, written on the cusp of the 21th century.
