Night of upsets for Sion and Aarau

Saturday night football action saw top division clubs, Sion and Aarau, suffer defeats in their fifth round matches of the Swiss Cup.

At home at Wankdorf, Young Boys of Berne caused the biggest upset with their 3-0 victory over Sion.

Gürkan Sermeter put the ball twice in the back of the net for Young Boys while Erich Hänzi scored from a free kick.

Meanwhile, Schaffhausen triumphed 4-3 in a penalty shootout over Aarau after their game ended in a 1-1 draw.

In other matches, Servette saved themselves a few blushes when they finally powered to a 3-1 victory over Meyrin in the last eight minutes of their away game.

Wolf equalized Chedly's second half goal in the 82nd minute. He scored again six minutes later and his team mate, Petrov, clinched the victory seconds before the whistle.

Finally, Biasca beat Kreuzlingen 1-0.
