The Cresta Run in St Moritz is celebrating its 125th birthday.

Members of the St Moritz Tobogganing Club took part this weekend in the 100th “Grand National” race as part of the anniversary. The 1,200-metre snaky ice run in the chic Swiss ski resort was created by the competition-loving British and locals in 1885 and continues to attract brave aficionados who undertake some 10,000 rides per year.
