Minimal Flute. Works by Steve Reich, Philip Glass & Terry Riley. Hans Balmer, flute.

Minimal music for solo flute. Bernese classical flutist Hans Balmer explores the sound cosms by three godfathers of minimal music. By using the multi-track recording procedure he multiplies himself into a flute orchestra which brings this music's often africanisms to full bloom as on Vermont Counterpoint. Riley's In C eventually even consists of 36 layered tracks.
