Chrobeg-Chörli Gonten: Zom Jubiläum. Additional performances by Jungstriichmusig Alder Urnäsch, Goofe-Chörli & Stegreifgruppe Gonten
Yodel / Instrumental. With Zom Jubiläum (The Jubilee), the yodel choir Chrobeg-Chörli, from Gonten in canton Appenzell, celebrates its 30th anniversary. The members of this 21-piece ensemble are largely farmers, which is reflected at its best in the rustic mood of this recording. Hence, some of the selections are accompanied by bell-shaking or coin-rolling sounds. Zom Jubiläum features in addition three further small ensembles from Gonten in catching performances, both vocal and instrumental.
