The exhibition focuses on Switzerland’s reputation as a health paradise with mountain resorts, healthy air, spas, clean and well-lit streets, trains running on time and natural food. After considering Paracelsus’ theory of thermal waters and Albert von Haller’s «Ode to the Alps», visitors are introduced to historical key points such as the famous Monte Verita colony in Canton Ticino, the equally famous Bircher-Benner clinic in Zurich and the sanatoriums of Davos and Leysin.
