Conference assesses Iraq's status
Switzerland has joined 79 other nations participating in the so-called International Compact with Iraq (ICI) meeting in Stockholm on Thursday.
The Swedish meeting is evaluating the implementation of the ICI, a five-year peace and economic development agreement that was officially launched in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in May last year.
Michael Ambühl, state secretary for foreign affairs, is heading the Swiss delegation.
Governments are also set to discuss the cancellation of Iraq's debt, which the country's prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, called for at the opening of the conference.
Switzerland's contribution to Iraq for 2008-11, including assistance to refugees in neighbouring states, is SFr21 million ($20.23 million).
Much of those funds are divided between the International Committee of the Red Cross and United Nations agencies, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
