Chur surprise leaders Lugano
Hockey leaders Lugano were delivered a surprise defeat by Chur on Saturday night, as the canton Graubünden side, playing at home, beat their Ticino opponents 4-2.
A hotly contested first period saw Chur 3-2 ahead. Neither team scored in the second, before Chur made it 4 in the third.
In the night's other matches Kloten Flyers inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Fribourg, Ambri beat Rapperswil 2-0, Davos lost 3-1 to Zurich Lions, and table-bottom La-Chaux-de-Fonds likewise lost 3-1 to Bern. Meanwhile, the top-scorers were Zug, who beat Langnau 5-3.
Saturday's matches leave Lugano top of the table with 51 points, just ahead of Zurich, who also have 51 but a worse goal difference and have played two more matches than the Ticino side.
