The Christmas Market in Montreux is perhaps one of the most attractive in Switzerland. From decorated wooden chalets, artisans sell their wares and local specialities. Canada, guest country of honour, presents typical crafts and cuisine. Other attractions include the chance to visit Father Christmas at his house in Rochers de Nay, high above Montreux. Many other Swiss towns and cities have similar markets.
