The retrospective marking the fiftieth birthday of controversial artist Jean-Michel Basquiat‘s (1960-1988) comprises paintings, works on paper and objects from renowned museums and private collections. Basquiat, who started out as a graffiti sprayer in New York, created 1000 paintings and over 2000 drawings before his tragic death.
